Itinerary:
Our guide will meet you at the place you choose and drive you to the Land of Galilee. Here you will visit the glorious Basilica of the Annunciation, standing right on the House of Mary, where Jesus spent most of his life. Surprisingly, this is a modern church, built in the 20th Century according to the most recent beliefs of the Catholic Church. We continue driving through the city of Nazareth, passing by "Mary's well", were according to the Orthodox tradition the Annunciation took place. Now we drive past Arab villages, where Christians, Druze and Muslims live together, and ascend to Safed, the Capital of Jewish Mysticism – Kabbalah! We stroll through its blue-colored alley-ways, hear some of its stories (it's hard to tell which part is legend and which part is true!) and visit its unique art-galleries and enchanted synagogues… Now we drive down a steep road, surrounded by forests, until the glorious Sea of Galilee unfolds in front of our eyes. On the "Mt. of Beatitudes" we can enjoy the special church built by the Italian architect Berluzzi, as well as the wide view over the Sea of Galilee. We also visit the archaeological excavations of Capernaum, "The Town of Jesus", with St. Peter's House and its well-known Synagogue. We will also see the reconstructed Church of the Multiplication with its very unique mosaic-floor, dating back to the 6th Century, before driving back to your hotel.

As we visit some of the holiest places for the various religions, respectful, modest clothing, is required. This means you have to cover both your knees and shoulders, including men.
This Tour is intended for Christians, or people with Christian Background, staying in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv who want a more extensive Christian experience of the Galilee. It can be made as two separate days from Jerusalem or Tel Aviv or as a 2-Day Excursion with Over-Night in Galilee.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
We start the day in Cana, where Jesus performed his first miracle by turning water to wine at a wedding, and continue to Nazareth, where we visit the Basilica of the Annunciation and the Greek-Orthodox St. Gabriel church near Mary's Well. Continue to Mt. Tabor with its scenic Church of the Transfiguration. After descending the mountain, we head back to Jerusalem/Tel Aviv, or travel to Tiberias, where we spend the night.
Day 2:
Today we visit the places where Jesus acted around the Sea of Galilee: Capernaum, with Peters House and the famous Synagogue, enjoy the view from Mt. of the Beatitudes, where the "Sermon on the Mount" was given, and the reconstructed church at Tabgha, where tradition puts the miracle of the Bread and The Fish. We will also sail on the sea in a boat similar to the boat used by Jesus and his disciples (this can also be booked as an optional tour only). In the afternoon we make a short drive along the Golan Heights, and end the day at the Baptismal Site on the Holy River Jordan.
