Day 1:

Jordan River border / Madaba / Mt. Nebo / Desert high way / Petra.
 
Drive from Tel-Aviv & Jerusalem hotels to Jordan River border (Sheik Hussein). After the border crossing procedures, meet and assist by your Jordanian English speaking tour guide. Drive to Madaba to see the ancient mosaic map of the Holy Land and ruins of historical sites. Continue to Mount Nebo, from where Moses viewed the Promised Land. From there you will see the Jordan Valley, Jericho, the Dead Sea and more… Visit the remains of a Byzantine church with a mosaic floor, and then drive via the "Desert Highway" down to Petra, check in at hotel, dinner and overnight.
 
Day 2:

 Petra
 
After breakfast, our tour guide will escort you to Petra, the famous "Rose Red City". We will enter via the famous "Siq" (gorge) and then on foot to Petra, known since centuries as "Sela Edom", the ancient capital of the Nabateans from the 3rd century B.C. To 2nd century A.D. Visit the most interesting carved monuments, such as the Treasury, El Khazneh (a tomb of a Nabatean king) then the field of tombs, obelisks, the altar (Al Madhbah) - from this point you can view the whole of the rock city, and then back to Wadi Musa village for dinner and overnight.

Day 3:

Petra - desert high way - Jerash - Jordan River (Sheik Hussein)
 
After breakfast we will check out of the hotel and proceed to Jerash - city of the Decapolis, located about 45 Km. North of Amman in the fertile heights of the Gilad. Here we shall visit the ancient Roman city with it's colonnaded streets, the baths, the hill top Temple etc. Departure via the Sheik Hussein border, and continue to Jerusalem or Tel Aviv by our AC van/bus.
