A special 2-Days Tour on the way from Eilat to Tel Aviv
Tour can be part of Bar Mitzvah Tour, Incentive Tour etc
Day 01
08:30 – we leave our hotel in Eilat, northwards bound, on the Arava Road. After a short drive we get off-the-beaten-track to watch the Flamingo Birds in the Avrona Pools. We also visit the Avrona Farm, dating back to the early Arab Period, where people, through a very sophisticated method called "Fuggaras" (Chain-wells) managed to grow hundreds of acres of fruits & vegetables in the middle of the desert!
We continue along the Arava valley, and then turn into the wild Negev Desert, and into the "Ramon Crater" – a unique geological phenomenon, only to be seen in Israel! Inside the Crater we visit the Oasis Ein Saharonim, with the Nabathean Caravanserai, which is a part of the Nabathean "Incense Road", where once the caravans loaded with the expensive treasures of the orient stopped for a nights rest. Then we continue along the "Incense Road" to visit the well-preserved Nabathean city Avdat. In the afternoon we drive to the "Desert Ship" farm, where we will spend the night in a Bedouin-style tent.
19:30 – "Chafla" (Bedouin Party) – Bedouin-style dinner in the tent.
Day 02
09:30 – After breakfast, we set out for a 1 hour guided ride on Camels, like the Nabatheans long time ago… After the ride we return to the tent, to experience the traditional Bedouin Hospitality, with the coffee-preparation ceremony, that hasn't changed much since the time of Abraham… (Lunch not included).
In the afternoon we drive on to the first Hebrew city - Tel Aviv. Have a look at this modern, pulsating city, Israel's cultural and commercial center, and stroll through the alley-ways of Old Jaffa, where many artists exhibit their work, done with the inspiration of it's ancient Mediterranean atmosphere.
